How this help you in the media industry?
Being more confident is extremely useful in the media industry, it would allow me to proudly show my work and not to worry too much if I had made mistakes. Though i am a good listener and I really care about others work too, I think that would be useful in media because you're always going to be working in a team, and everyone has something to show so it's good to always pay attention. It takes me awhile to get an idea that I'm 100% happy with but I do have a creative mind, in media you've got to be creative, it's such an creative industry. I am very understanding and if people struggle or make a mistake, I don't go crazy and get very angry, I just either give them a little bit of time to fix it or help fix the mistakes, once again I think it's good to have this trait as in Media you're always working in a team and it's only natural to make mistakes. And finally I think I'm very friendly, in media you're always meeting new people and I think it's good to be friendly to everyone you meet because then they'll remember you as someone friendly who works for that company and not someone they wouldn't want to meet again.

Camera Operator
In this interview with Aaron Gordon, who is a Camera Operator at UAF which a University where he does a Theatre and Film program. He does multiple programs, clubs and jobs where he can do camerawork. He works with a range of different equipment, he talks about a study camera, which is where you have it on your body and you walk the camera around. Throughout the interview, Aaron talks about equipment hes uses and gives explanations about each one. I think he is trying to tell the viewers that it's a good idea to go to University if you want to become a camera operator because it will teach you a lot and there is so much your'e able to do and work with. Overall he says that 'many hands make great work', this is a great conclusion for the audience because now they will remember that one quote, they might you it for inspiration.
Editor
This is an interview with Alfred Hitchcock, he was a famous Director and Producer, in this interview he talks about editing and the skills of editing. He talks about 'cutting' which he then describes editing isn't really that but is to place all the best and better moments together to create a montage. He explains that with 'cutting' you can change someones perspective of a situation, for example a woman and her baby are together at a park, the camera then moves to a close up of a man who starts to smile because you think he's smiling at the mother and child, making the man seem kind and caring but then if you change the scene to a woman in her bikini and then turn to the man who smiles, it makes him seem disgusting. It doesn't take just one take of something to complete a scene but you need to do multiple shots to create a small scene if you want it to be effective. But it's not all about the scenes used but also with the audio, that using sounds in your editing can have a real effect, for example he explains a scene in Psycho, where a detective is walking up the stairs, the audience know that there is someone in the house but with music and the editing, you know that he'll be killed but never actually see any violence, only things that happen after the weapon has entered the detective's body. Using different size of image can create shock in scenes such as murders.
Light Technician
This interview is with Melea Anderson, who is a Production Technician but talks about lighting, she says that you all work together create a piece as a whole. You tell a story using lights because it adds an effect, it brings out the story more. She explains that if everyone works together then it would get the audience to be fully engaged, so using lighting helps grab people's attention to what the story is trying to say. Not only can it be used in films but also in Theatres and Concerts. By getting a job in a Theatre, just like her you're able to learn everything about light work and it helps you work in the team because the lighting is a big part of productions. She says it's great to help someone else express themselves and herself by using the lighting. She explains that a lot of people she met before she got her job, went to school to studying lighting, either university or college and would spend their whole education just on lighting, but she didn't do those things and got the job because she loved it and worked hard because she needed to keep doing it. That overall you don't need to have intense training or go to school and just studying lighting but if you're passionate enough then you'll be able to get there.
Sound Mixer
This interview is by a Production Sound Maker, he uses different mics by looking at the scene as a whole but by also looking at an actor within the scene, to see if it matches with the acting and style of scene. He explains that it not about technique but it's about context. He says the Sound Maker needs to be a Film Maker, just like everyone else, you need to understand what the director wants and you create the story as well by using sound. Make sure that you know what the scenes is and how it would connect with the next scene, that you're always learning. The sound keeps the audience inside the character and what he/she does, the sound helps the audience understand the character. He thinks about if there was a noise in the scene (for example) that does it take away the audiences's attention from the scene.
